Diwali at the Embassy of Nepal: A Celebration of Lights and Unity

 

The **Embassy of Nepal** in New Delhi hosted a magnificent Diwali celebration, uniting diplomats, ambassadors, and distinguished guests from across the globe. The event, held in collaboration with **Lions Club Delhi Veg** and **Global Trade and Technology Council of India (GTTCI)**, was a vibrant display of cultural exchange, unity, and the shared joy of Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

Held in the heart of India's capital, the celebration welcomed over **27 countries**, with each diplomat and guest experiencing the warmth of Nepali hospitality, deep-rooted traditions, and the spirit of festivity. The embassy was beautifully illuminated with lamps and lanterns, bringing the warmth of Diwali to the distinguished gathering. This Diwali event was not just a celebration of the Hindu festival but also an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic ties, foster cultural understanding, and promote the spirit of international unity.

**Cultural Immersion and Unity**

The evening’s program began with traditional prayers and lighting of lamps, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. As guests mingled and exchanged festive greetings, the event provided a platform for various cultures to come together.
