Unleashing the Power of Punjabi Script: Anmol Akhar Gurmukhi Writing Competition

Language is more than a means of communication—it’s the soul of a culture, a bridge to heritage, and a mirror of identity. In celebration of Punjabi language and the timeless elegance of Gurmukhi script, we are proud to announce the Anmol Akhar Gurmukhi Writing Competition, to be held on Saturday, 26th April 2025, at the serene Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar, Lajpat Nagar-3, New Delhi.

This event is a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of expression through the Gurmukhi script, inviting participants of all ages to engage creatively with their mother tongue. Whether through poetry, essays, or short stories, writers will have a platform to let their words shine and showcase the richness of Punjabi language and literature.

We are deeply honored to host an inspiring lineup of distinguished guests who embody excellence in their respective fields:

  • DIG Pratap Singh, an Indian Army Veteran and renowned Social Activist, whose commitment to service and community upliftment continues to inspire generations.

  • Prof. Charanjit Singh Shah, a celebrated Architect and Educationist, whose contributions have shaped minds and skylines alike.

  • Rao Charan Singh Narang, CEO of Rosa Herbalcare, an entrepreneur promoting wellness through nature.

  • Jaswinder Singh, a well-known Actor, Model, and Influencer, bringing a youthful and creative spirit to the event.

Their presence adds immense value to the occasion, symbolizing the unity of tradition, education, entrepreneurship, and contemporary expression.

The Anmol Akhar competition is more than just a writing contest—it’s a movement to reconnect with our roots, to pass on the legacy of Gurmukhi to future generations, and to encourage pride in our linguistic heritage. As our culture evolves, initiatives like this ensure that the essence of who we are remains strong and vibrant.

All are welcome to attend, participate, and be part of this celebration of words, wisdom, and heritage. Come, let your pen dance with the rhythm of your heart. Let your Gurmukhi script narrate stories that echo through time.

Let your words be the ink that preserves our legacy.
